Terms of sale.

thriftx.co.uk is run by ThriftX Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under number 16876624, at Unit 25a, M B J Business Park, Kenny Hill, Mildenhall, Suffolk IP28 8DS.

Contact us at support@thriftx.co.uk. These terms apply when you buy from us on this website. Purchases through our eBay store are covered by eBay's terms.

We sell new, open-box, customer-return and surplus stock. Each item's condition is stated on its page (for example New, New other or Used), along with any notes about marks, missing packaging or accessories. The photos are of the stock we hold.

Most items are one-offs. Stock is shared with our eBay store, so an item can sell there while you are checking out here.

Prices are in pounds sterling and are the total you pay, with free UK delivery.

Payment is taken by Stripe, our card payment provider, on its secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details.

Your order is accepted when your payment goes through and you see your order number (TX-...). A receipt is emailed to you.

Before taking payment we check each item is still available. If an item sold elsewhere at the same moment, we cancel that item and refund it in full automatically, and tell you on your order page.

If we find a pricing mistake or a problem with an item before it is posted, we will contact you. You can choose to cancel for a full refund.

Delivery is covered on our Delivery page and returns on our Returns page. You have at least 14 days to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, and we give you 30.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer. Every item must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose, allowing for its stated condition.

Manufacturer warranties may not transfer with open-box, returned or surplus stock, so we don't promise one unless the item page says so.

We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms. We are not responsible for business losses, as our goods are sold for household and private use.

You can buy as a guest or with a ThriftX account. Accounts don't use passwords: you sign in with a code we email you, or with a passkey on your own device. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
